Last Sunday, February 23, VAV Broadcast ended the 2020 Carnival broadcast for Canal Extremadura TV.
A large deployment of technical media and a team of close to 50 people, VAV Broadcast was a participant in one of the most important productions for the regional channel and with more depth in the region of Extremadura.
For 3 days we were in the city of Badajoz to produce the 2 semifinals and the final of the Murgas de Badajoz contest. One more year, and from the López de Ayala theater, we moved to our OB Van HD 4 with a technical endowment of 8 camera chains, 1 12-meter hot head, 2 72x telephoto lenses, 1 EVS ChannelMax, 3 VTR, 1 labeling system and 1 large audio endowment.
On Thursday, February 20, we arrived at the autonomous capital of Extremadura to produce the final of the Chirigotas and Comparsas contest of the Roman Carnival. Up to the Palacio de Congresos in the city of Mérida, we move our OB Van 4 HD with 6 cameras, 2 telephoto lenses 72x, 1 EVS ChannelMax, 3 VTR Dvcpro, signage system, 2 wireless reporter systems and 1 post of commentators
To conclude the Badajoz Carnival edition of 2020, on Sunday, February 23 and from the central streets of the city of La Paz, we witnessed the well-known Parade of Comparsas. In this edition, the participation exceeded 10,000 people. The technical deployment amounted, in addition to our OB Van 4 HD, to 7 camera chains, 1 12-meter hot head, 2 72x telephoto lenses, 3 angular lenses, 1 EVS, 4 VTR, 1 signage system and 1 commentary position.
