On November 30, the “Commemoration Day” was celebrated at the Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi. It is the commemoration in honor of the Emirati martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the Nation.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Governor of the Emirate of Dubai, attended the ceremony along with Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Governor of Abu Dhabi in the Al Ain Region; Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The event in which His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented the honorary medals to the families of the martyrs, had the Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi as a masterpiece and was enlivened by the UAE military band.
