VAV ENGINEERING / INSTALLATION OF THE MASTER CONTROL FOR EXTREMADURA TV / MERIDA

As a result of the collaboration with the audiovisual engineering services company Broad Service, VAV Engineering has carried out the renovation of the audiovisual technological infrastructure of the Canal Extremadura Production Center in Mérida, which mainly affect Production Control, the Production Set of programs, rack room and other affected areas.

VAV Engineering has been in charge of carrying out the detailed engineering and planimetry, all under the supervision and direction of Broad Service, to then proceed with the renovation of the video and audio cabling infrastructure, synchronism signals, as well as the corresponding to the voice, data and control networks (GPIOs, tally, etc.), including the installation and integration of the equipment that has been recovered from the pre-existing installation, as well as the new equipment acquired through the same tender dossier object of this renovation, of which Broad Service was awarded last year, who have also acted as main contractor in this project and have offered the necessary advice and pre-sale and post-sale support.

Through this contract, the installation and the resulting equipment will enable more flexible workflows and higher performance, in accordance with higher quality standards of audiovisual production, expanding and improving the functionalities of both the video elements as audio. Likewise, systems will be available that allow managing a greater number of signals, will allow the realization of more dynamic audiovisual productions, expanding the origins and destinations of the audio and video signals, allowing a greater number of simultaneous direct and facilitating in turn the distribution of all the generated signals in the different points where they are necessary, both for their edition, as well as for their monitoring and execution.

With all this, in addition, it is intended to establish the bases for the creation of a high definition production center, prepared to work in the future with 3G-SDI signal flows, as well as the use of audio networks over IP.
